We opened Yoga Cold Bath because we wanted a place that actually delivered on what wellness promises. Here's how it came together.
Sarah and Brooks spent years bouncing between gyms, fitness studios, cold plunge studios, and recovery clinics, looking for one place that truly combined recovery, movement, and community in a way that made sense for everyday people and families. Nothing quite fit. So they built it themselves.
Yoga Cold Bath was created to be the studio they wanted to walk into themselves. Clean, welcoming, community-focused, and built around a recovery flow that actually works. From premium Morozko ice baths and yoga classes to sauna, compression, red light, and recovery spaces, every part of the experience was intentionally designed to help people feel better physically and mentally.
As North Phoenix parents raising their family in this community, Sarah and Brooks wanted to create more than just another wellness studio. They wanted a place where athletes, busy parents, professionals, students, and entire families could recover, reset, and reconnect together.
This studio is their investment in what wellness should look like in North Phoenix. Approachable, high-quality, community-driven, and built for real life.
The best ice baths in the world are made right here in Phoenix, AZ, and we're a proud partner with them as a local company. When we started designing the studio, the cold bath had to be real. Most "cold therapy" places run a chiller machine and call it ice. We wanted actual ice. We wanted the real thing.
Morozko Forge is the gold standard. Their machines build a layer of real ice on the water surface, hold tight temperature control between 32° and 52°F, and feel completely different from a chilled tub. The first plunge tells you why we chose them.
Becoming an official Morozko Forge partner means we can also help you set one up at home. Talk to us when you're ready.
We hold a Maricopa County health permit, which sounds like a small detail until you understand what it means.
The county inspects our water quality, sanitation, drainage, and safety protocols. Most pop-up cold plunge studios in the Valley don't pursue this permit because it's expensive and demanding. We did, because public health is non-negotiable.
If you're plunging anywhere that can't show you a permit, ask why. The contrast therapy industry is growing fast, and standards matter.
Every yogi at YCB is a certified yoga teacher, trained on cold therapy protocols and emergency response. We take this seriously.
