The additional $80k in donations drummed up by OC basketball boosters, OC men’s swim team & OC men’s outdoor volleyball will go to Sandra Day O’Connor’s various sports departments.
The flag presentation recognizes YCB’s commitment to community through their support, highlighting the wholistic impact of their ice tub wellness center on local students and service members.
Master Sergeant Badey, both a leader within the JROTC program and a frequent YCB cold bath participant, shared his perspective:
“Yoga Cold Bath has become my weekly wellness circuit. The cold plunge equipment and recovery tools are perfect for military members who face unique physical and mental challenges. Programs like this provide a safe, effective way to recover and recharge, and it’s an honor for our JROTC to recognize YCB with this flag for supporting our mission.”
The Cold for a Cause campaign underscores YCB’s dedication to combining wellness with community impact. In celebration, Yoga Cold Bath is offering 20% off all memberships for .gov employees, including military personnel, veterans, teachers, and first responders.
